“I am a Pleasanton resident and a professional educator holding Dual Master Degree – in Education and in Science. I have decided to open Tri- Valley Math Classes to address a need in an afterschool program that combines math tutoring with Math Club.
Tri-Valley Math classes offer support and enrichment with grade-level math while developing critical and analytical thinking, reasoning, and problem solving and cultivating love for learning math.
I have 10 years of experience teaching math and science to elementary and high school children in Kiev, Ukraine and Israel. I have developed a math and science curriculum for Technoda - Israel Technological Education and Science Center and authored an official Israeli High School text book. Working currently in information technology, I understand needs and requirements of a modern economy.
While growing in Soviet Union, I attended math circles, graduated from specialized math High School, studied high level math in university and tough it to many children for many years. I am passionate about early math teaching and believe in learning through individual and group exploration, discovery and problem solving in a supportive and friendly environment.
Math always brings joy to me. I hope Tri Valley Math will spark joy and love to mathematics in your child.”
